For the first time in his short NFL career, Knowshon Moreno found the endzone in a Broncos 23-3 victory of the Oakland Raiders. Moreno rushed the ball 21 times for 90 yards, but was held without a catch. His touchdown came in the third quarter on a 7 yard run.
For the second game in a row, Moreno has led the Broncos in carries. They are going to do whatever is necessary to get him his touches and develop him into an every down back. The sky is the limit with Knowshon Moreno, especially in the Bronco system. They get to play against some of the worst defenses in the AFC West and will run the ball more then other teams when the weather gets bad in December.
If you have Knowshon Moreno on your fantasy team, then it’s time to insert him into your lineup. He’s no longer just a RB3/Flex type guy. I think he worthy of a RB2 spot. And if you’re in a keeper league hold on to him like he’s your first born child.

The Denver Broncos improved to 2-0 on the season with a 27-6 victory over the Cleveland Browns. Knowshon Moreno led the team in rushing attempts with 17 for 75 yards, giving him a respectable 4.4 YPC average. Moreno’s long carry of the day came on a 17 yard rush. Knowhon also has 2 receptions for 22 yards.
Knowshon showed nice progression on his performance in Week 1. This week he showe dmore speed, better vision and the ability to move through the tackles. Buckhalter stole some of his carries after he ran for a 45 yard touchdown. The Broncos have been known to give the ball to the hot hand, but the fact that Knowshon Moreno had 17 carries to Buckhalters 9 proves that he is still the go to man.
What we need now is for Moreno to find the endzone. Remember he won the all-rookie touchdown dance competition a few months ago. I can’t wait to see what he has in store for his first NFL Touchdown.

The ending of the Denver vs. Cincinnati game last weekend was absolutely crazy. I can’t believe Stokley caught that tipped ball and took it all the way in for a touchdown with virtually no time left on the clock. I am surprised though that there wasn’t more scoring in this game. The Broncos and Bengals have good offenses, but sucky defenses. So who knows what happened?
I do know that Knowshon Moreno didn’t play well. First game jitters I hope. He rushed the ball 8 times for only 19 yards (including a long of 8 yards). Moreno did not record a catch, something he excelled in doing at Georgia.
This weekend the Broncos play a home opener vs. Cleveland. The running game has got to improve. The Vikings were able to run ALL OVER the Browns last weekend so there is no excuse for the Broncos not to focus on rushing the ball. Expect Knowshon Moreno to get 15 carries and 70 yards rushing. I also think he’ll find the endzone for the first time in his NFL career.
